Artist

PROFILE

Born in 1986 in Osaka, currently based in Kanagawa.
Manabu Morita is a contemporary artist who explores the theme, “Humans, at their core, are animals.” Through diverse mediums such as paintings, sculptures, murals, and digital works, he continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression. Deeply influenced by graffiti art during his childhood, Morita draws on the raw energy and defiant spirit unique to street culture as the foundation of his work.
His creations, imbued with “tension” and “vitality,” delve into human instincts and survival strength while questioning unseen rules, societal morals, and the true meaning of “peace.” Central to his work is the iconic character “NEO (Mirai-kun),” a figure donning goggles that has become a symbolic presence in his art.
Through NEO, Morita conveys a message of primal resilience and unwavering hope for the future.

1986年生まれ、大阪府出身、神奈川県在住。
